About Me
Mojtaba Davijani
Documentary Editor & Story-driven Filmmaker
I am a documentary editor and filmmaker focused on discovering narrative within real-life imagery. For me, editing is not just about assembling shots, but about finding rhythm, silence, and the moments where a story truly takes shape. Most of my work has developed within documentary practice—where detail, time, and human perspective matter. This path has shaped my approach to editing, moving beyond technique toward a deeper sense of atmosphere and storytelling. Alongside this, I am drawn to projects built around music and rhythm—where image and sound meet and form a shared language. I began my professional work in Iran and am currently based in Europe, continuing to develop my practice and collaborations. Download CV

What I Do
I am interested in stories that emerge through rhythm, silence, and observation rather than explanation.
My approach to editing goes beyond assembling scenes — I work on character development, story architecture, and the overall direction of the film during the editorial process.
I specialize in finding narrative structure inside complex documentary footage and transforming fragmented material into emotionally coherent stories.
